ROCCHETTO ceramic vase is a simple but strongly distinctive vase for flowers. Its surface is solid and smooth at the base, and towards the top it transforms into a lightened rounded section worked with a perforation method called “a traforo” – or drilling – that recalls one of the Italian lace patterns. The pattern used is a stylization of a traditional lace that refines this elegant piece, giving it a decidedly contemporary touch. Its shape vaguely recalls an old bobbin of sewing thread that names this item (in Italian “rocchetto” stands for “bobbin”). Thanks to its silhouette of a large curvature, ROCCHETTO ceramic vase demonstrates an eloquently dynamic character. Tinted with white colour, ROCCHETTO vase gets more characteristic with its glossy black inner side that emphasizes the perforated part. Instead it turns into a fresh and sunny decorative object in its red version that still remains enough discreet, since you can glimpse its joyful tint only looking at the vase from above or through the holes etched into the ceramic surface.
